User roles and permissions

Ready to Review uses a role-based permissions model with the following roles.

Organization-level roles

Company administrators:
  • Access and control all organization settings.
  • Invite new team members and manage user accounts.
  • Organize users into groups for easier management.
  • Connect your integrations (available with CoCounsel Core).
  • Control how long documents are retained.
  • Oversee all clients and projects across your organization.
  • Set default tax configurations.
Users:
  • Work on your own clients and projects.
  • Create and manage clients and projects you own.
  • Collaborate on clients where you're added as an Owner or Collaborator.
  • Focus on your work without administrative responsibilities.

  • Client and project permissions are managed at the
    client level

  • Projects automatically inherit permissions from their parent client.
  • Adding a user to a client grants them access to all projects under that client.
  • Users can only see clients they are Owners or Collaborators for.
  • Admins can see all clients.
