Preliminary checks
: Validate the tax year and check for duplicates.

Document categorization
: Identify document type (W-2, 1099-INT).

Entity identification
: Determine taxpayer, spouse, or dependent information.

Personal information extraction
: Extract names, SSNs, addresses.

Tax area application
: Map the data to the tax categories (wages, dividends).

Field extraction
: Extract specific data points from each document.

Organizer mapping
: Populate the organizer with extracted data.

Data transformation
: Push and transform data to the Tax Preparer Agent.

The AI assigns confidence levels to extracted data:

High confidence
: Data extracted with exceptional accuracy; minimal review needed.

Low confidence
: Data may need verification; flagged for your review as a task.
