Create templates for your internal sources

After uploading your relevant internal sources, you and your team can perform work and ask specific questions that point solely to the folder you created. For more information on uploading internal sources, go to this article. As an administrator, we recommend you create a template that points to this specific content folder so your team can get guidance on a recurring basis.
Follow these steps to create and use templates.
  1. Select Clipboard icon to open the
    Template library
    .
  2. Select
    + Create Template
    .
  3. Enter information or make selections for the following items:
    • Type
: Templates work for both Conversations and Workspaces.
    • Title
: Be specific so your team can locate the template easily.
    • Description
: Provide details about when to use this template and its purpose.
    • Access
      : Select
      My Company
      or a specific group.
    • Tags
: Create tags for specific topics and use cases.
      tip
Use clear, searchable tags (like "Non-Profit" or “401(k) Audit”) to make your templates and sources easy to locate as your library grows.
    • Prompt
: Use the @ symbol to point to your specific folder of internal sources that were added. This ensures that CoCounsel only performs actions and research based on information within that folder. After adding the @ symbol to point to a specific source, customize the prompt with specific text or add a manual entry custom field so your team can input their own questions.
After selecting
Use Template
, users can converse with CoCounsel, and all responses will draw from resources within the selected source folder.
tip
For frequently occurring questions or tasks, build reusable templates that point to the relevant internal sources.
