Create a workspace template from scratch

Build a custom Workspace template from scratch by adding your own questions and instructions. Standardize recurring tasks and streamline your team's workflow in CoCounsel.
  1. Select
    Templates
from the navigation pane in CoCounsel.
  2. Select
    Create New Template
    .
  3. Select
    Workspace
    for the Type.
  4. Enter a title for your template.
  5. Provide a detailed description to explain what the template is for and any specific guidelines for using it.
  6. Add the questions and instructions that will form the basis of your template. You can:
    • Add questions manually.
    • Have AI generate questions for you based on a brief description of your task.
    • Import a list of questions that you are already performing.
    note
You can also add sections to help separate groups of questions within the Workspace.
  7. Assign access to your template. By default, your template uploads to your private
    User Collection
, where only you can access it.
    • Keep the default setting so your template remains private.
    • Assign
      Company
access to publish your template to your firm's Company library, where everyone in your firm can access it.
    note
Only Company administrators can create Company templates. If you're not a Company administrator, keep your template in your
    User Collection
, then share it with a Company administrator so they can add it to the
    Company library
    .
