Deleting contacts

From the contacts list

To delete a contact from the
Contacts
list, navigate to the
Contacts
page in Contract Express, select the appropriate contact(s) and click the Delete menu option.

Contacts that are in use in either a document, matter or in association with another Contact cannot be deleted. You must first delete the item that is using the Contact for it to be enabled for deletion. See Contact usage for details on viewing contact usage.

From a document

To delete a contact from a document:
  1. Open a document that has a template that supports contacts. The existing contacts should be indicated.
  2. Click
    Remove
    to remove the contact from the document. Note that this will only remove the contact from the document but will not delete the contact from your list of contacts.
