Managing locales

Contract Express allows managing the formats of numbers, the rules for currency amounts, the labels for questionnaire controls and many other options by using locales. You can create a locale and specify it in the profile’s settings to apply locale rules to this profile.
Contract Express provides a
built-in locale
, default locale applied to all sites if none other is applied. It is not possible to modify this locale.

Creating locales

  1. Go to
    Admin
    >
    Locales
    .
  2. Click
    New locale
    button.
  3. Set
    Locale name
    and
    description
    .
  4. Select
    Base locale
    - the standard locale that you want to customise (for example, en-US).
  5. Configure the locale settings.
By default each aspect of the locale will be pre-populated with the settings derived from the
Base locale
