Edit an import task in e-Form RS

  1. Select
    File
    , then
    Import Client Data From Spreadsheet
    .
  2. Select the
    Import Task Name
    , then
    Edit
    .
  3. Choose one the following ways to import a datafile:
    • Multiple copies of 1 form per Client
    • One Row per Client
    • One Sheet per Client
  4. Select
    Next
    .
  5. Choose a tax form, then select
    Next
    .
  6. Select and link clients and datafiles.
  7. Select any current client datafile combinations to be unlinked, then
    Remove
    .
  8. Select
    Next
    .
  9. Edit the mapping.
  10. Save the mapping to the existing map or create a new map.
  11. Select
    Close
    .
  12. Review your changes then select
    Finish
    .
  13. Choose one of the following way to save your edited task:
    • Save as an existing task
    • Save as a new task with different name
  14. Select
    OK
    , then close
    Save Import Task
    window.
  15. Take the following steps if you chose
    Multiple copies of 1 form per Client:
    1. Enter the number of copies of the form you want to add to the client
    2. Choose whether the worksheet should contain a header row
    3. Select
      OK
