Error: e-Form RS Has Stopped Working

Steps to solve the e-Form RS Has Stopped Working error message.

Scenario

While you use e-Form RS the following error message appears.
e-Form RS Has Stopped Working

Cause

There could be several different causes of this error.

Solution

You can try any of the following possible solutions.
  • Uninstall e-Form RS and reinstall it.
  • On your computer, browse to C:\User\[Login Username]\App Data\Local. Delete the
    eForm
     folder and rename the
    Apps
     folder.
  • Delete the
    Deployment
     folder in the Registry:
    1. Enter
      Registry Editor
       in the Windows
      Search Bar
       and select it.
    2. Delete the
      Deployment
       folder at
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
  • Repair Microsoft .NET Framework.
    tip
    You may have to repair Microsoft .NET Framework manually or, for some versions of Windows, you may be able to use the Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool.
