Scribbled lines, circles, or teardrop-shaped lines appear on forms

Forms in e-Forms RS may display scribbled lines, circles, or teardrop-shaped lines due to missing or corrupted font files.

Scenario

You may see scribbled lines, circles, or teardrop-shaped lines on your forms when using e-Forms RS.

Cause

This issue occurs when font files required by e-Forms RS are missing or corrupted on your local system.

Solution

  1. Go to your Local C: drive and open the
    Users
     folder.
  2. Open your personal user folder, which may be named after you or your employee number.
  3. Open the
    AppData
     folder.
    note
    If it's hidden, turn on hidden files by selecting
    View
     on the folder window and marking the
    Hidden Items
     checkbox.
  4. Select
    Local
    Apps
     then the
    2.0
    folder.
  5. Enter the alphanumeric folder (for example, XLMHKN4A.0E1) and go to the next folder inside it.
  6. Open the folder starting with
    efor..tion_1037c3061d840f17_0017.0000_d3db3328a5c28563
    , or a similar name beginning with
    efor..tion
    .
  7. Select the
    Fonts
     folder, then open each font file inside it.
  8. Select
    Install
     on each font file. Once the button turns gray, the installation is successful.
  9. Repeat this installation process for all font files.
  10. Reopen the e-Form RS application and try to print the form.
