Enable or disable an engagement type

Follow these steps to enable or disable an engagement type in Engagement Manager.

You must have administrative permissions to complete this task.
  1. In Engagement Manager, select
    Setup
    , then
    Engagement Types
    .
  2. Select the engagement type you want to enable or disable, then
    Edit
    .
  3. Select an option from the dropdown:
    • Enabled
      : You'll be able to select this file section when you add a new engagement or edit engagement properties.
    • Disabled
      : The file section won't display as an option when you create a new engagement or edit engagement properties.
      tip
      You can disable certain GoFileRoom file sections (such as a General Correspondence file section) that aren't used for client engagements to prevent them from being selected as an engagement type.
    • Read-only
      : The file section will display when you add a new engagement or edit engagement properties, but you won't be able to select it.
      note
      Select
      Read-only
      for items that should appear in lists, but shouldn't be selected as an engagement type.
  4. Select
    Save
    .
