Enable or disable an engagement type
Follow these steps to enable or disable an engagement type in Engagement Manager.

You must have administrative permissions to complete this task.
- In Engagement Manager, selectSetup
, then Engagement Types. - Select the engagement type you want to enable or disable, thenEdit
. - Select an option from the dropdown:
- Enabled: You'll be able to select this file section when you add a new engagement or edit engagement properties.
- Disabled: The file section won't display as an option when you create a new engagement or edit engagement properties.tipYou can disable certain GoFileRoom file sections (such as a General Correspondence file section) that aren't used for client engagements to prevent them from being selected as an engagement type.
- Read-only: The file section will display when you add a new engagement or edit engagement properties, but you won't be able to select it.noteSelectRead-onlyfor items that should appear in lists, but shouldn't be selected as an engagement type.
- SelectSave.
