Engagement Dashboard features

The Engagements Dashboard serves as a centralized area for managing and monitoring the progress of various engagements within your firm.

Key features of the Engagement Dashboard

  • Signoff Progress Tracking:
    The dashboard includes a
    Signoff Progress
column that indicates the number of workpapers that have been signed off compared to those that remain unsigned. This feature lets you quickly evaluate the completion status of workpapers for each engagement.
  • Open Notes Management:
    An
    Open Notes
column is present to display the count of open notes assigned to you for each engagement. This ensures that you are aware of all pending discussions or issues that need your attention.
  • Sorting and Filtering:
Columns on the dashboard can be sorted and filtered to help you organize the information according to your preferences or to find specific engagements quickly.
  • Grouping by Categories:
You have the flexibility to group the rows into categories based on the information in the columns. This can help you view engagements by status, assignee, or any other relevant grouping criteria.
  • Engagement Actions:
    The
    Actions
column gives quick access to various functions such as deleting an engagement, reindexing, adding a note, closing the engagement, and viewing the engagement in the current or a new tab.
  • Engagement Recycle Bin:
From the dashboard, you can access the engagement recycle bin, which lets you restore or permanently remove previously deleted engagements.
  • Managing Open Engagements:
    The
    Open Engagements
button lets you add or remove engagements from the dashboard, helping you maintain a focused and relevant list of active engagements.
  • Bulk Closure of Engagements:
You can close multiple engagements simultaneously by selecting them using checkboxes and selecting the
    Close Engagement
    button in the toolbar.
  • Adding New Engagements:
    The dashboard gives an
    Add New Engagement
    button for creating new engagements.

Specific to firms with Guided Assurance licensing

  • Procedure Progress Column:
This column displays the percentage of completion for each engagement based on the number of signed-off procedures within the Guided Assurance documents. Engagements not linked to Guided Assurance will indicate Not linked, and those that can’t have their completion percentage calculated will show Doesn’t apply.
  • Progress Refreshing:
The percentages in the Procedure Progress column are cached for 24 hours. If you notice that the percentage is outdated, you can update it by selecting the
    Refresh Progress
    button in the toolbar.
