Engagement properties include general information about the engagement, trial balance information, related date information, and more. If you are working in a parent consolidated engagement, changes to certain properties automatically sync to all child engagements.
Follow these steps to edit an engagement's properties.

Engagement properties are read-only when any document has a checked-out status.
The
History
screen is read-only and displays event details related to the engagement, including if it's been moved to the recycle bin and restored.
If you are working in a parent consolidated engagement, some properties on child engagements are read-only and must be managed from the parent engagement. Properties that are required to sync to child engagements are locked at the child engagement level and cannot be changed independently.
In Engagement Manager, open the engagement you want to edit, then select
If you are working in a parent consolidated engagement and you change a property that syncs to child engagements, a confirmation window appears listing all the changes that will apply to child engagements. Properties that are required to sync have their checkboxes unavailable. Properties that are optional to sync can be deselected if you do not want to apply those changes to child engagements. Select
Apply
to confirm and save the changes across all child engagements.
