Edit engagement properties

Engagement properties include general information about the engagement, trial balance information, related date information, and more.
note
  • Engagement properties are read-only when any document has a checked-out status.
  • The History screen is read-only and displays event details related to the engagement, including if it's been moved to the recycle bin and restored.
Follow these steps to edit an engagement's properties.
  1. In Engagement Manager, open the engagement you want to edit, then select
    Properties
    .
  2. Select the type of properties you want to edit.
    • General
      tab includes: Engagement name, engagement type, PIC, assigned staff, tax vendor, and entity.
    • Trial Balance
      tab includes: Structure, year end date, period frequency, current period, prior years, and prior periods.
    • Dates
      tab includes: Engagement dates, completion dates, deletion dates, and GoFileRoom indexing.
    • Content
      tab includes: External integration source (Checkpoint Engage, SMART Practice Aids), enable Confirmation, and link Inflo.
    • Security
      tab includes: Section lock (Workpapers, Trial Balance, Journal Entries, and Notes List).
  3. Make your edits and select
    Save
    when you're done.
