Lock and unlock sections of an engagement

You can lock the Workpapers, Trial Balance, Journal Entries, and Notes List sections of engagement in Engagement Manager. This can be helpful when you're about to finalize an engagement and want to prevent any updates or changes.

You need security permissions to lock or unlock engagement sections.
  1. In Engagement Manager, open the engagement, then select
    Properties
    .
  2. Select
    Security
    .
  3. Mark the checkboxes for the engagement sections you want to lock, then
    Save
    .
  4. To unlock, unmark the engagement section checkbox and select
    Save
    .
