Engagement Manager organizes your fund data into the following hierarchy: (I) Category, (II) Type, (III) Fund, (IV) Subfund.
Follow these steps to set up a fund hierarchy for a fund template in Engagement Manager.
note
You can use duplicate subfund codes that are used in separate funds. For example, you could reuse a subfund with code "10" for a cash account in separate funds. All other set data, including fund codes, type names, and category names, must be unique throughout all of your firm's fund templates.
The number of characters in funds and subfunds must match the mask.
If you include subfund data, Engagement Manager requires that you include it for all funds. If a specific fund doesn't require a subfund, you'll need to enter a subfund placeholder.
