Move financial statements converted from Engagement CS or Trial Balance CS
If you created financial statements in the Financial Reporter module of Engagement CS or Trial Balance CS, you can move them to Engagement Manager as a new workpaper. Then you can format the workpaper to link to the trial balance data with the Engagement Manager add-in

This process only applies to financial statements created in the Financial Statement Editor. Excel and Word based financial statements in Engagement CS are able to be converted with the conversion utility.
- Open the client in Creative Solutions Accounting.
- From the main window, selectSetupthenFinancial Statements.
- Open the statement.
- SelectUtilitiesand chooseExport.
- Choose a save file location you can easily get to.
- ChooseComma Separated Export (*.csv)for theSave as type.
- SelectSave.
- Open yourFile Explorerand go to the folder containing the new .csv file.
- Right-click the file, selectOpen with, then chooseExcel.
- In Excel selectFile, thenSave As.
- Save the file as anExcel Workbook (*.xlsx).
- Close the file.
- Add the external file to the engagement.
- Open the workpaper to edit it.
- Format the content of the file as needed, and insert Engagement Manager Engagement Links to link to the trial balance and client data.
