- Excel Formulas
- Cross-engagement data access:Reference data from child engagements at any level of your consolidation hierarchy directly in Excel.
- Engagement selection:Select the desired engagement from a new dropdown in the formula builder.
- Extended formula support:The AfAmount formula now supports cross-engagement references for consolidations.
- Dynamic updates:Account, balance type, period, and year options automatically refresh based on the selected engagement.
- Improved formula resolution:Ensures accurate results across complex engagement hierarchies.
- Improved Note Viewing
- Expandable notes:Expand note content directly within the grid without opening a new window.
- Formatted display:Notes now render with improved formatting (line breaks and text styling).
- Bulk controls:Use Expand All and Collapse All to manage multiple notes.

- We will be removing support for the legacy COM Add-in version of the Microsoft Office Add-in for Engagement Manager soon (Date to be determined.)The new Web Add-in offers significant advantages: no registry entries or local files required, no separate 32-bit and 64-bit installers, and automatic updates that eliminate the need to reinstall on each computer. New Divisional and Consolidation features, along with the enhanced notes interface and journal entry shortcuts, will only be available in the Web Add-in. Please uninstall the legacy COM Add-in from Windows Control Panel before installing the new Web Add-in.
- Reminder.As shared previously, please make sure to install the latest GoFileRoom Add-in (v26.1.1) to enable new features and avoid potential issues when working across engagements.
