Add workpapers from GoFileRoom

Add files stored in GoFileRoom to the
Workpapers
tab in Engagement Manager.
  • You'll need a user account that has been granted the
    Add Workpaper
    permission.
  • You'll also need to have a client and an engagement in
    Engagement Manager
    .
  1. In Engagement Manager, open the engagement, then select the
    Workpapers
    tab.
  2. In the list of workpapers, select the target folder where you want to add your files from
    GoFileRoom
    .
  3. Select add
    Add
    , then
    Workpaper
    .

    Alternatively, right-click the target folder, and select
    Add
    , then
    Workpaper
    .
  4. Select
    GoFileRoom
    from the
    Source
    dropdown list, then
    Next
    .
  5. Mark the checkbox for each document that you want to add to your
    Engagement Manager
    workpapers, then select
    Next
    .
    important
    Only GoFileRoom documents that are indexed with the same properties as the current engagement will appear in the Add Workpaper from GoFileRoom screen. In addition, the File Section, Year, and Period End engagement properties must match to the corresponding index in the GoFileRoom document.
  6. If you want to add documents from your
    GoFileRoom
    Client Center
    powered by
    Onvio
    or
    GoFileRoom
    ClientFlow
    portal, use the
    File
    column filters to select either
    Client Center
    or
    ClientFlow
    and clear the filters for
    Year
    and the
    Period end
    . You can also select
    Save current view
    from the
    Filtered views
    dropdown list to save this filter.
  7. Select the properties for the imported documents.
  8. Select
    Complete
    .
    note
    When you add a document from
    GoFileRoom
    , the
    Document type
     is set to
    Workpaper
    .
