Stamp library is missing
Scenario
The Stamp Library icon in the annotations toolbar or the Open Library option within the menu is unavailable (grayed).
Cause
The FileCabinet CS Stamp Library is held in the
annotlib.dat
file in the X:\WinCSI\FcabSys
directory, where X represents the drive where the application is installed. FileCabinet CS is unable to access the Stamp Library if it is no longer available in the designated location.Solution
Restore a backup of the
annotlib.dat
file from a backup, or recreate the Stamp Library by adding new annotations. If you do not have a backup of your system settings from within FileCabinet CS, contact your IT professional for assistance with your backups.note
If your Stamp Library is missing and you recently migrated servers, restore the
annotlib.dat
file from the previous server, if available. To avoid situations like this, back up all system settings prior to moving to a new server via the File > Backup
dialog in FileCabinet CS.
