Repairing an archive

You may need to repair an archive if the archive takes a long time to load in the

Folders

window.

The archive repair process improves archive performance by increasing the file sector size. This process also increases the archive file size.

Choose

File
Archive

Select the Repair archive
option.

Select the Continue
button.

In the left pane, highlight the archive volumes you want to repair and use the Select
button to move them to the right pane.

If you don't see the archive you are looking for in the left pane, you can select the ellipsis button and choose another archive data location.

Optional:
Mark the Exclude converted archives
checkbox or the Exclude defunct archives
checkbox.

Select the Repair
button.
