Add Data Location dialog

Show all hidden content
Use this dialog to add data locations for FileCabinet CS data. For example, you could create separate data locations for client information and firm information and name the data locations "Client Data Cabinet" and "Firm Data Cabinet."
This dialog opens when you select the
Next
 button in the
Data Location Format
 dialog with the
Standard format
 option selected.

Depending on your firm's security configuration, you may be required to enter the master password to open the
System Configuration
 dialog.

Fields & buttons

Enter the path of the FileCabinet CS data
To rename a path, select it from this field, change the description in the
Enter an alias for this data location
 field, and select
OK
. To create a new path to a data location, select the
Enter Path
 button.
Enter Path button
Select this button to select a new data path by browsing to a desired data location.
Enter an alias for this data location
Enter a description for the new data location in this field.
Open Copy Drawers dialog after adding new data location
Mark this checkbox to open the
Copy Drawers
 dialog, where you can copy drawers from other data locations into the new data location. Data that is not formatted for the new data location is converted during the copy process.
