Update Drawer Status dialog

Use this dialog to assign a drawer status to multiple drawers at one time. You can assign a status of
Active
, Inactive
, or Defunct
. You can focus drawers by status in the Folders
window or in dialogs that include a list of drawers, such as the Backup
and Copy Drawers
dialogs.To open this dialog, choose , and select the
Update Drawer Status
button in the Drawers

You can assign status to individual drawers in the
Drawer Properties
dialog by selecting Active
, Inactive
, or Defunct
from the Status

Assign status
Choose from this drop-down list the status (
Active
, Inactive
, or Defunct
) you want to assign to drawers that meet the criteria you specify in this dialog.Drawers without recent event history
Mark this checkbox to apply the selected status to only drawers without a recent event history, as defined by the following options.
- No activity logged in the event history since <date>: Select this option to apply the selected status to only those drawers that have had no event logged since the date that you specify by clicking the drop-down arrow for theDate field. Choose a date using the calendar that opens.
- Fewer than <n> activities logged in the event history since <date>: Select this option to apply the selected status to only those drawers that have had less than the number of events logged that you specify since the date that you specify. Enter a number in theNumberfield or use the arrows to increase or decrease the value shown; choose a date using the calendar that opens.
Drawers containing only archives
Mark this checkbox to apply the selected status to drawers that contain only archives.
Drawers explicitly selected
Mark this checkbox to explicitly select drawers to be updated with the assigned status.
