Copy Multiple Embedded Objects dialog

Use this dialog to copy multiple embedded object files to the selected drawers, to specify folders in which the objects will be stored, and to either accept the default name for all objects or to name them separately.
To open this dialog, choose
Object
Create From File
, select the
Browse
button, select more than one object by holding down either the SHIFT or CTRL key while selccting the files you want to store, and select the
Open
button.

Fields & buttons

Store all embedded objects in the selected drawer(s) using their filenames as the embedded object names
Selecting this option will enable the
Drawer ID
field and
Folders
list for choosing the drawer and folders in which you want to store all embedded objects, using their current file names as embedded object names.
Drawer ID
Shows the ID of the selected drawer, or
multiple
if you've chosen multiple drawers, containing the folder into which the objects will be copied. To change the drawer, select a different drawer ID from this field.
Document folders
Mark the checkbox for each folder in which you want to store the objects. If you do not mark any checkboxes, FileCabinet CS stores the objects in the
{Not yet filed}
folder.

Folders used in the current drawer appear at the top of the folder list, followed by a separator line, and then followed by the list of remaining folders (those not in the current drawer).
Choose the drawer, embedded object name, and folder(s) for each embedded object separately
Use this option to name each object separately and/or to select different folders and drawers per object. If you select this option, the
Create Object From File
dialog opens for each object that you selected, and the
Drawer ID
field and folders list in the
Copy Multiple Embedded Objects
dialog are disabled.

You can also copy or move multiple embedded documents at once by dragging and dropping them within the
Folders
window.
