Error: No Outlook profile exists. You will need to set up an Outlook profile...

Scenario

If you have Outlook Express and Outlook installed on your workstation, and you use Outlook Express as your default email application, you may see the following error message when you attempt to send an email from FileCabinet CS.
No Outlook profile exists. You will need to set up an Outlook profile and make Outlook your default email application.
If CS Professional Suite applications other than FileCabinet CS can send emails without error, and FileCabinet CS cannot, no error may be displayed.

Solution

Outlook Express uses a simple MAPI convention. If an email application that uses advanced or extended MAPI—such as Outlook—is installed on the workstation, it can interfere with the integration between Outlook Express and FileCabinet CS. To bypass the error, you can add an environment variable on every affected workstation.
