Error: The printing of this document cannot be completed
Scenario
When printing PDF documents into FileCabinet CS using the FileCabinet CS Virtual Office Print driver, you may receive the following message.
Error message
The printing of this document cannot be completed. It has been determined that the display of this PDF document after printing to FileCabinet CS may result in erroneous fonts.
Prior to printing to FileCabinet CS, we recommend selecting
print as image
from Adobe's Advanced Print Setup
dialog. Alternatively, you can embed the PDF by choosing Create from File
from the Object
menu in FileCabinet CS.Solution
Marking the print as image option within the print driver dialog will prevent this error message.
- Open a PDF file in Adobe, the selectFile>Print.
- Select theAdvancedbutton.
- Mark the checkbox forPrint as Imageand selectOK.noteIfPrint as Imageis grayed out, uncheck thePrint in grayscale (black and white)option in the previous window located below theAdvancedbutton.
- This setting will save after you print a document with this setting marked.
You can also embed the PDF to bypass the printing process by choosing
Object
then Create from File
in FileCabient CS.
