Transmitting documents to NetClient CS
If you are licensed for NetFirm CS, you must transmit the documents in the drawers you designated for NetClient CS using CS Connect .
To transmit documents to NetClient CS, follow these steps.
- Choose to open theNetClient CSdialog. Only drawers that are designated as contributors to NetClient CS appear in theNetClient CSdialog.
- In theNetClient CSdialog, move the drawers that contain the documents you want to transmit from the left pane to the right pane by highlighting them and using theSelectbutton. (Use theSelect Allbutton to move all available drawers.) You can also use the drop-down arrow adjacent to theSelectbutton and chooseSelect Changedto select all drawers changed or chooseSelect Forcedto select all folders forced since the last transmission to NetClient CS.noteYou can also open CS Connect and chooseSelect Drawersunder theNetClient CScheckbox.
- Select theConnectbutton to openCS Connect. FileCabinet CS creates the file that will be transmitted via CS Connect.
The size of the file transmitted to NetClient CS can vary, depending on the number of documents and images selected for each designated drawer. Because the size of the file can become rather large, you may prefer to place an unattended call to the our network of secure data centers during your non-business hours.
note
- If a folder in FileCabinet CS that is set up in Document Presentation is renamed, a force retransfer is required for it to be updated on the NetClient CS portal.
- By default, drawers appear in the left pane of theNetClient CSdialog after the associated drawers are designated as contributors to NetClient CS. After drawers are moved to the right pane, they remain in the right pane until you move them back to the left pane.
- You can also enable automatic transmittal of documents to NetClient CS. CS Connect Background Services will scan for any drawers with a status ofChangedorForcedand transmit updated documents to the portals.
