Data sharing drawer notes

FileCabinet CS allows you to data share drawer notes with the client notes in UltraTax CS 2008 and higher, Fixed Assets CS 2008 and higher, and Practice CS.

Creative Solutions Accounting (CSA) no longer integrates with FileCabinet CS due to CSA licenses permanently expiring on March 1, 2017.
When you first open a data location in FileCabinet CS, a one-time import process occurs, importing TIN information from UltraTax CS clients.
If for some reason the TINs did not import (for example, if the UltraTax CS data location was not properly set), you can force a TIN import by choosing

Import TINs
 in FileCabinet CS. You can also individually enter the TINs in the drawer properties.

If you are missing the notes tabs for specific products, re-run the workstation setup for those products. For example, if the UltraTax CS tab is missing, go to
X:\wincsi\utYY\Desktop
 and run the setup. (X=the drive letter where the program resides, YY=the year of the product).
