Printing client-specific reports from UltraTax CS to FileCabinet CS

UltraTax CS provides several client-specific reports that can be printed to FileCabinet CS but are not printed from the
Print
 dialog like other UltraTax CS documents.
FSO (Filing Status Optimization) Report
To print the
FSO (Filing Status Optimization) Report
 to FileCabinet CS (1040 clients only):
  1. Select the
    Print
     button in the
    Filing Status Optimization
     dialog.
  2. Mark the
    Store image in FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  3. Select the
    Print
     button (or the
    To Cabinet
     button if a printer is not also selected as a destination).
Form 9325 (Acknowledgement and General Information for Taxpayers Who File Returns Electronically)
To print
Form 9325 (Acknowledgement and General Information for Taxpayers Who File Returns Electronically)
 to FileCabinet CS:
  1. In the
    Electronic Filing Status
     dialog, select each client for whom you want to print Form 9325. Use the SHIFT and CTRL keys to select multiple clients.
  2. Select the
    Printer
     button and select
    Print 9325
    .
  3. Mark the
    Store image in FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  4. Select the
    Print
     button (or the
    To Cabinet
     button if a printer is not also selected as a destination).
Education Expense Optimization Report
To print the
Education Expense Optimization Report
 to FileCabinet CS:
  1. Select the
    Print
     button in the
    Education Expense Optimization
     dialog.
  2. Mark the
    Store image in FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  3. Select the
    Print
     button (or the
    To Cabinet
     button if a printer is not also selected as a destination).
Partnership reports
To print
Partnership reports
 to FileCabinet CS (1065 clients only):
  1. In the
    Partner Information
     window, choose
    File
    Print Reports
    .
  2. Mark the
    FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  3. Select the
    Print
     button (or the
    To Cabinet
     button if a printer is not also selected as a destination).
Apportionment reports
To print
Apportionment reports
 to FileCabinet CS (1120,1065, and 990 clients only):
  1. In the
    Apportionment Information
     window, choose
    Apportionment
    Print Reports
    .
  2. Mark the
    Store image in FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  3. Select the
    Print
     button (or the
    To Cabinet
     button if a printer is not also selected as a destination).
Shareholder reports
To print
Shareholder reports
 to FileCabinet CS (1120 clients only):
  1. In the
    Shareholder Information
     window, choose
    Shareholder
    Print Reports
    .
  2. Mark the
    Store image in FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  3. Select the
    Print
     button (or the
    To Cabinet
     button if a printer is not also selected as a destination).
Multi-state allocation reports
To print
Multi-state allocation reports
 to FileCabinet CS (1040 clients only):
  1. In the
    Multi-state Allocation
     window, select the
    Print
     button to open the
    Print Reports
     dialog.
  2. Mark the
    Store image in FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  3. Select the
    Print
     button (or the
    To Cabinet
     button if a printer is not also selected as a destination).
Blank forms or input screens
To print blank forms or input screens to FileCabinet CS:
  1. In the
    Blank Forms / Input Screens
     dialog, mark the
    Store image in FileCabinet CS
     checkbox.
  2. Select the
    To Cabinet
     button.
    note
    Blank forms and input screens are stored in the
    $GLOBAL
     drawer in FileCabinet CS.

You can choose the data location for any of these reports by selecting it from the
FileCabinet CS
 field in the
FileCabinet CS Documents
 dialog.
