Modifying banner page options
You can modify banner page settings, such as the header, border style, and body text for the banner page. To modify the default banner page settings globally or for only the current user, follow these steps.
- Do one of the following, depending on whether you will modify the banner page globally or for a specific user.
- To modify banner page options globally, choose and select theBannertab.
- To modify banner page options for only the current user, select theSend to Email Recipient or Filebutton
in the toolbar, choose Email Recipient or File, and select theModify/View Bannerbutton to open theModify/View Banner Pagedialog. TheModify/View Bannerbutton is only available when theInclude banner pagecheckbox is marked.
- Mark theFirst page onlycheckbox if you want the page header to appear only on the first page. When this checkbox is clear, the page header appears on all pages of multi-page banner text.
- In thePage headersection, select theModifybutton to modify the banner page header.
- Choose a different page border or choose not to have a page border by choosing items from thePage borderfield.
- Select theModifybutton in theBanner page textsection to modify the banner page text.
- Select theBanner Optionsbutton to open a dialog in which you can set preferences for how the links to documents are organized.
- SelectOKto close theSystem Configurationdialog or theModify/View Banner Pagedialog.noteIf you are modifying banner page options for only the current user, you can preview the banner page by selecting thePreviewtab. You can also restore the default settings for the current user by using theRestore Defaultsbutton in theModify/View Banner Pagedialog.
