Change Drawer Password

Use this dialog to change or delete the password for a drawer that is password protected in FileCabinet CS.
To open this dialog for the drawer password you wish to change, follow these steps.
  1. Double-click the drawer in the
    Folders
     window. The
    Drawer Password
     dialog opens.
  2. Instead of the drawer password, enter the master password in the
    Enter drawer password
     field, and select
    OK
    .
note
You can also change a drawer's password in the
Drawer Properties > Restrict Access
 dialog.

Fields & buttons

Drawer password / Verify
Enter the new drawer password in both of these fields and select
OK
 when finished. The verification field is provided to minimize the chance of a mistyped password.
