Modify email text dialog

Use the
Modify email text
dialog to modify the default email text for PDF files that are sent via email.
note
As indicated later, changes you make for default email text will be for password-protected or non-password protected PDF files and will either affect all users or only the local user, depending on how you open this dialog.
To open this dialog, do one of the following:
  • Choose
    Setup
    System Configuration
    , go to the
    Email Text
    tab, and select the
    Modify
    button for either the
    Email text when password option is not selected
    pane or the
    Email text when password option is selected
    pane. Changes you make will affect all FileCabinet users.
  • Choose
    File
    Send To
    Email Recipient
    , select the
    Modify/View Email Text
    button, and select the
    Modify
    button for either the
    Email text when password option is not selected
    pane or the
    Email text when password option is selected
    pane. Changes you make will affect the current user only.

Fields & buttons

Modify email text field
Use this field to enter or modify default email text.
note
When the
(Attachment list)
line is present, the files you attach to an email will automatically be listed here.
Restore Default button
Use this button to revert to the original FileCabinet CS default email text.
Insert Attachment List button
Use this button to insert the
(Attachment list)
variable, which will list all files that are attached to the current email.
note
This button is only available when no attachment list line is present in the
Modify email text
field.
Font button
Use this button to open the
Font
dialog, where you can modify the font, style, size, and color for the current default email text.
