System Configuration / Data Locations tab

Use this tab to add and maintain multiple locations for your FileCabinet CS data. For example, you can maintain separate data locations for personal, company-specific, and client-specific information.
To open this tab, choose
Setup
System Configuration
and go to the
Data Locations
tab.
note
Depending on your organization's security configuration, you may be required to enter the master password to open the
System Configuration
dialog.

Fields & buttons

Data locations list
This list displays the alias and path for each location where FileCabinet CS data is maintained.
Add/Modify Data Location button
Use this button to open the
Data Location Format
dialog, where you can select the file format for the data location. Select
Next
to open the
Add Data Location
dialog where you can enter a path and description for a new data location or modify an existing location.
Stats button
Use this button to open the
Data Location Stats
dialog for viewing detailed information about data locations.
Transfer Configurable Files button
Use this button to open the
Transfer Configurable files
dialog, where you can select files that have been modified and transfer them between data locations.
note
Your organization must have more than one data location to transfer configurable files.
Change location button
If you use FileCabinet CS in a terminal server environment, you can use this button to change the location of the FileCabinet CS system configuration folder.
