Elect out of bonus depreciation for all assets

Follow these steps to use the Template Client in Fixed Assets CS.
  1. Select
    Setup
     then
    System Configuration
    .
  2. Select
    Template
    .
  3. Select
    Setup
     then
    Options
    .
  4. The Options window will open. Make your Bonus Depreciation Elections. After you have your elections, select
    OK
     and then select
    Update Clients
    .
    note
    UltraTax CS has the capability to elect out of Bonus Depreciation for all assets in a client, but doesn’t give a way of electing out of Bonus Depreciation for all assets in all clients. You can only do this on a client-by-client basis using the previous steps.
