Customize columns in the Asset List window

By default, the
Asset List
 window includes the following columns in the following order: Asset #, Description, In Service (date), Disposal Method, Tax Cost/Basis, Tax Current Depr, and Group.
To add other columns, change the order of columns, or delete a default column, complete the following steps.
  1. Open the client.
  2. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Options
    .
  3. Select the
    Asset List
     tab.
  4. Use
    Select
     and
    Remove
     to select the columns you want to customize. The columns listed in the Columns selected pane will appear, in the order listed, in the
    Asset List
     window.
  5. To change the position of a column, select it in the Columns selected pane, then
    Move Up
     or
    Move Down
    . Repeat this step until all columns are listed in the order you want.
    note
    • The options selected here only apply to the open client.
    • Select
      Restore Default
       to return to the default column settings.
  6. Select
    OK
     to close the
    Options
     window.
    note
    You can set up a template to customize columns for all clients added afterwards.
