Customize the placement of association fields in the Asset Detail window
By default, the 1st 3 active fields in the
Association
field order list in the Associations
window appear in the Asset Detail
window in that order. Any other association fields you're using appear in the Associations group in the Other
tab.Follow these steps to change the order or locations of the association fields.
- Open the client.
- SelectSetup, thenAssociations.
- TheAssociationfield order list displays the association fields in their current order. To move a field in the list, select the field name thenMove UporMove Down.
- Repeat the previous step until the fields are listed in the order you want, then selectOKto return to theAsset Listwindow.note
- The options you select here apply to the open client only.
- To speed up data entry, move theOil & Gasfield to the beginning of theAsset Detailwindow. During data entry, this lets you select the well description from theOil & Gasfield, enter the cost/basis, and when you selectUnits of Productionfrom the dropdown list in theMethodfield, the application automatically enters the well's beginning reserves and current-year production amounts entered in theOil & Gaswindow.
