Export client data (CSD File) from UltraTax CS or Fixed Assets CS
UltraTax CS or Fixed Assets CS lets you create unencrypted CSD files of client data that you can email or send to a file location.
A CSD file type is specific to UltraTax CS and Fixed Assets CS and you must have them installed to open/restore client data. Make sure the recipient of this data has UltraTax CS and/or Fixed Assets CS installed (depending on what you're sending) so they can open the file.
- In UltraTax CS or Fixed Assets CS, selectFile,Send to, thenFile.
- Double-click the clients to move them to the right-hand side.
- Optional: password protect the clients' information by entering a password in the provided field.
- Select theModify Destinationbutton to set the file location the client will be sent to.
- SelectOK.
