How changes in the Fixed Assets inventory module transfer to Fixed Assets CS

The Fixed Assets Inventory module is licensed separately from Fixed Assets CS.
Changes made to assets in the Fixed Assets Inventory module transfer to Fixed Assets CS as follows.
  • Image changes:
    Changes that are made to images, such as the deletion or addition of an image, transfer to Fixed Assets CS when the inventory is either suspended or finalized.
  • Association changes:
    Changes that are made to the
    Setup
    , then
    Associations
    window within the Inventory module transfer to Fixed Assets CS when the inventory is suspended or finalized.
  • Changes that don't affect an asset's depreciation calculation:
    For assets with an inventory status of Found - changed, Checked out, Disposed, Missing, or New, any changes made to fields that don't affect how the depreciation is calculated automatically transfer to the asset records in Fixed Assets CS when the inventory is finalized.

    field don’t affect how depreciation is calculated.
  • Changes that affect an asset's depreciation calculation:
    For assets with an inventory status of Found - changed, Checked out, Disposed, Missing, or New, any changes made to fields that affect how depreciation is calculated transfer to the
    Asset Import
    tabs in Fixed Assets CS when the inventory is finalized. Using these tabs, you must accept or discard the changes on an asset-by-asset basis.

    • The Amortization section, Used, or Date in service columns if those columns are included in the inventory
