Using states with Fixed Assets
You can add states to Fixed Assets CS clients to control which property tax associations can be enabled for a client.
To add states to clients, go to
Setup
, then Situses
.The application adds states to clients for any of the following:
- Any state return attached to the client in UltraTax CS.
- The residence state that's entered for UltraTax/1040 and UltraTax/1041 clients.
- The address state that's entered for UltraTax/1065 and UltraTax/1120 clients.
- The state ZIP Code that's entered on an UltraTax CS input screen for a multiple-unit activity.
- The situs that's assigned to a multiple-unit activity.
- Any situs to which you assign an asset during asset data entry.
