Network and standalone workstations installation
Before beginning the install, your firm licensee or delegate needs to complete the administrative setup steps in Getting started with your new CS Professional Suite application.

The installation process for differs from that for other CS Professional Suite applications you may have used. We recommend that the installation be completed by your firm’s network administrator or consultant. If your firm chooses to install Accounting CS in a terminal server environment, a We recommend identifying a
product champion
in your firm to be your “go-to” person for qualified and certified terminal server professional

If your firm uses Accounting CS in the Virtual Office CS® environment or in the Software as a Service (SaaS) environment, the installation and CS Connect sections of this guide aren't applicable because we complete the initial installation and updates for you.
- Go to the folder you saved the installer to.
- Pay attention to theDestination Folder. If you need to restart the installation or restart the server.
- SelectExtract.
- SelectYesif you're warned about replacing existing files.
The setup opens after you run the downloader. If you need to open the installation manually or restart the installation, go to the folder from the
Destination Folder
step and select Setup.exe
. - Answer the question during setup, then review the license agreement.
- If you agree to the license agreement, mark the checkbox to accept the terms. SelectNextto continue.
- You may be asked to restart your computer. You can ignore the prompt, but you should restart your computer if it comes back.
- SelectNextto select the location of your shared files.
- SelectNextto install components on your computer.
Install the application on other network computers after you're finished with the server.
