Run the Fixed Assets CS desktop setup (network installation only)

If you installed Fixed Assets CS on a network, run the desktop setup application on each workstation to add Fixed Assets CS to the Start menu and to install a shortcut icon to Fixed Assets CS on each workstation's desktop. Do the following to run the desktop setup application from each workstation.
  1. Verify you're signed in to your computer as an administrator.
  2. Close all open applications.
  3. Select
    Start
     in the Windows taskbar then select
    Run
    .
  4. In the Run dialog, enter the command:
    X:\folder\WINCSI\DSW\DESKTOP\SETUP
     where
    X
     and
    folder
     represent the server location where you installed the application and license files. For example, if you installed the application and license files in F:\WINAPPS\WINCSI, you'd enter
    F:\WINAPPS\WINCSI\DSW\DESKTOP\SETUP
    .
  5. Select
    OK
    .
  6. Follow the prompts on the screen.
