Set security options
Follow these steps to set security options in Fixed Assets CS.
- SelectSetup, thenSystem Configuration.noteDepending on your security configuration, you might need to enter the master password before you can open the System Configuration window.
- Select theSecuritytab, enter the master password, then selectContinue.
- Select from the security options. A brief explanation of an option displays when you select it.
- SelectOK.
tip
If you forget your master password, the licensee of the firm should call 800.968.0600, press 1 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, and ask the representative to help you obtain a temporary password. You can then enter the temporary password in
Setup
, System Configuration
, the Security
tab, select Modify
, and reset the master password.
