Enable associations for personal property tax returns

  1. In Fixed Assets or UltraTax CS, open the
    Asset List
     window for the client or activity.
  2. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Associations
    .
  3. Choose how you want to enable personal property tax return (PPT) associations:
    • To enable all PPT associations: Select
      Enable
      , then
      OK
      . This enables all state PPT associations for any state assigned to an asset or activity marked in
      Situses
       or
      Treatments
       from the
      Setup
       menu.
    • To enable individual PPT associations: Mark the checkbox for each PPT association to enable, then select
      OK
      .
The enabled PPT associations appear in blue in the
Asset Detail
 window.
tip
Another method you can use is to open the client in UltraTax CS (if licensed) and add a state PPT return to the client. This enables all PPT associations for that state.
