UltraTax CS and Fixed Assets CS: Restore CSD files locally

If you have UltraTax CS installed locally as well as on Virtual Office, you can use it to complete the following steps:
  1. Restore the CSD file to your local version of UltraTax CS (by double-clicking the attachment).
  2. Back up the client data to a local hard drive using
    File
    , then
    Backup
     in UltraTax CS.
    note
    Network drives won't be mapped with Citrix on Virtual Office CS but you can access the network drive by typing
    \\Client\X$
     and the rest of the path to where you want to back it up on the network, where X is the letter of the network drive.
  3. Sign in to NetStaff CS and open the application.
  4. From within the application, select
    File
    , then
    Restore
     in the application menu.
  5. Select
    Modify Backup Location
    , then select the location where the file was backed up on your local drive.
    note
    All local drives will have
    $
     after the initial letter; for example,
    C$(\\Client) (V:)
     is your local C: drive.
  6. Select
    OK
    .
  7. Select
    Restore
     to restore the client data within Virtual Office.
