Do the following to change the sort options for most reports (except the Group Summary, Location Summary, Journal Entry Report, Tax MACRS Convention Detail, or ACE Worksheet):
Select
File
then
Print
.
In the Print window, go to the
Reports
tab.
From the dropdown in the 1st field, select the type of report you want to print (
Tax
,
Book
,
State
,
AMT
,
E&P
,
ACE
,
Comparative
, or
[custom treatment]
).
Double-click the report you want to change the sort options for.
The report moves to the
Selected
pane.
With the report highlighted, select
Options
.
In the Options window, go to the
Presentation
tab.
In the
Sort by group
box, select a category of sort criteria from the 1st (left) dropdown.
From the 2nd (right) dropdown, select an option that pertains to the category you selected in the previous step.
To include subtitles, subtotals, or a page break after each sort criteria, mark the appropriate checkboxes next to the field description.
You can also choose to have Fixed Assets CS sort a specific sort criteria case sensitively or in ascending or descending order.
If needed, repeat steps 7–9 for the 2nd and 3rd level of sort criteria in the
Then by
dropdown.

If you're printing a summary of a report that has only 1 level of sorting, clear the
Subtitle
checkbox.
If you're printing a summary of a report that contains more than 1 level of sorting, mark the
