Use this window to log user-defined status events for the open client. The events available for logging on this window are defined on
Setup
,
System Configuration
, then
Status
tab.
To open this window, select
Utilities
, then
Client Status
, or select
Client Status
Client Status button on the toolbar.

This tab is available only if you have a client open and have defined system-wide status events in the
Setup
,
System Configuration
, then
Status
tab.

Fields & buttons

Events list
This list contains buttons for each system-wide status event you have defined using
Setup
,
System Configuration
, then
Status
tab. Select the button for the status event that you want to log for the open client. Logged events appear in the Event History list on this tab.

This window is not available until you define at least one system-wide status event on
Setup
,
System Configuration
, then
Status
tab.
Event History list
This list contains the history of logged events for the open client. You can edit or remove events from the event history by using the buttons and fields following this list.
Event
This field displays the name of the event highlighted in the preceding Event History list.
note
You can't rename a client status event using this field. To rename an event, select
Setup
,
System Configuration
, then
Status
tab. Select the event you want to rename, select
Edit
, and enter the name. This change is global and will affect all clients.
Date
This field displays the date on which the highlighted event was logged. To change the date, select
Edit
and either enter the date or select it using the calendar attached to this field. Then, select
Enter
.
Time
This field displays the clock time at which the selected event was logged. To change the time, select
Edit
, enter the time, then select
Enter
.
Comment
Use this field to enter a note regarding the logged status event. Comments entered in this field will appear in the General Client Information, Client Status History reports, and Logged Status list, which you can access from the
Client Status
toolbar button.
Present this window when closing a client
Mark this checkbox if you want Fixed Assets CS to open the
Client Status
window whenever you close a client.
