Show all hidden content
By default, all reports include all applicable assets except those in a miscellaneous activity. However, you may specify that the selected report include only certain assets by selecting restrictions.
To open this tab, select the desired report in the Print window,
Options
, then the
Select Assets
tab in the Options window.
To include all units, groups, and/or locations in the reports, clear the
Include all associations
checkbox and select
Select All
.

Associations group box
Include all associations
This checkbox is marked by default for each report. If you want to exclude certain assets from the selected report, clear this checkbox and then select the specific items (activities, types, groups, locations, divisions, and/or [custom associations]) that you want to exclude from the report.
note
When this checkbox is marked, assets that are in a miscellaneous activity aren't included in the report. To include these assets, clear this checkbox, select the appropriate subset of associations (
Activities
,
Groups
,
Locations
,
Types
,
Divisions
, or
[custom associations]
), then
Select All
.

If you want to print a subset of assets for the selected report (rather than all assets), select the categories to include or exclude.
To exclude custom associations, select the
Custom
option, then the associations you want to remove from the dropdown list.
Exclude from report
Lists the items to be excluded from the selected report or worksheet.
Include in report
Lists the items to be included in the selected report or worksheet.
Dates group box
Dates
Use the options in this group box to include certain assets in the selected report based on specified time conditions.
You can choose the following time conditions for both the
Placed in service
and the
Disposed of
rows.
  • Current period
    : Select this option to include in the report all assets that were either placed in service or disposed of during the current period. Fixed Assets CS enters the beginning and ending dates for the current period in the fields to the right of the
    Other
    option.
  • Current year
    : Select this option to include in the report all assets that were either placed in service or disposed of during the current year. Fixed Assets CS enters the beginning and ending dates for the current year in the fields next to the
    Other
    option.
  • Other
    : By default, selecting the
    Other
    option enters
    Various
    in the field and includes in the report all in service assets or disposed of assets.
  • The
    Other
    option can also be used to include only those assets in service or disposed of during a specified time frame. To do this, indicate the beginning date  and the ending date.
note
  • You can use these options in combination. For example, you can choose to include on the report all assets that were placed in service in the current period and all assets that were disposed of during the current year.
  • Enter the dates in MMDDYY format.
