If you are using a network system of Fixed Assets CS, you can use this tab to set personal page layout preferences for printing reports and forms. The settings on this tab can be overridden on a report-by-report basis by the options selected on the Page Layout tab in the Print Options tab in the Print menu.
To open this tab, select Setup, then User Preferences, then the Page Layout tab.
Fields & buttons
Duplex and 2 Up printing group box
1 printed page per sheet
Select this option to print 1 item per sheet of paper and to print on only 1 side of the sheet.
Duplex - 2 printed pages per sheet (use front / back)
Select this option to print reports or forms back to back.
2 Up - 2 printed pages per sheet (front only)
Select this option to print 2 items per sheet of paper and only on the front.

If you select this option, Fixed Assets CS compresses the font so that 2 items fit on 1 sheet of paper.
2 Up Duplex - 4 printed pages per sheet (2 front / 2 back)
Select this option to print 4 items per sheet of paper, 2 on the front and 2 on the back.

Don’t print duplex, regardless of Profile specification
To always print reports and forms either 1 printed page per sheet or 2 Up (regardless of the options set in the print profile), select this option.

- The preferences set on this tab can be changed at any time.
- If you choose any of the duplex printing options on this tab, note that some combinations of operating system and printer cause the back page to print upside down. If this occurs, open the Select Printer window and select the appropriate option from theInvert duplex page 2 forfield.
