Transfer Configurable Files window

Use this window to copy customized items (such as asset labels, custom methods, custom reports, import maps, state calculations, and status system events) from 1 data location to another. For example, multiple branches of the same firm that share an installation of Fixed Assets CS can copy items like custom methods and custom reports from 1 branch to all other branches.
To open this window, select the Transfer Configurable Files button in the Setup, then System Configuration, then Data Locations tab.

Fields & buttons

Source location
Use this dropdown list to select the data path that is the source of the customized items to be transferred.

You'll need to specify a data location using the Data Location tab before it will appear in this drop-down list.
Destination location
Use this dropdown list to select the data path that is the destination of the customized items to be transferred. To transfer customized items from the source location to all other data paths, select (All Other Locations) from this list.

Configurable items list
This list contains the configurable items that can be transferred from one data location to another. Use the checkbox to the left of each item to select which items will transfer from the data path specified in the Source location field to the path specified in the
Destination location
 field.
