System Configuration > Security tab

Show all hidden content
Use the Security tab of the System Configuration window to restrict access to the System Configuration window, the State Calculations window, the Method/Life Wizard window, the Help > Repair window, and the File > Send to Email Recipient window.
To open this tab, choose Setup > System Configuration and select the Security tab.
note
Depending on your security configuration, you might be prompted to enter the master password before you can access the options in the System Configuration tab.

Fields & buttons

Security options require the Master Password
Enter the master password in this field to access security options. The master password is not assigned during the installation of Fixed Assets CS. To create or modify the master password, select the Modify button.
Continue button
Select this button after you have entered the master password.
Modify button
Select this button to open the Modify Master Password window, where you can assign or modify a master password.
note
This button is available only after you enter the master password and select Continue.
Available options
Lists the security options.
note
The security options are not available for selection until you enter a master password in the
Master Password
 field and select Continue.
