Use the Import Asset Data window to import depreciation data from other applications or an American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) comma-separated value (.csv) file.
To open this window, select Utilities, then Import Asset Data, then ASCII file while in the Asset List window.

Location of import file
This shows the path specified for importing client data from another application. To change this path, select
Change Location
.Name of file to be imported
Displays the name of the file to be imported. You can select a different file from the dropdown list.
Change Location button
Select this button to open the Modify Location window. From there, you can change the specified path for importing client data.
Only include files with DSW extensions
Mark this checkbox to include only files with DSW extensions in the
Name of file to be imported
dropdown list.
